Call Center Counselors

LeadGenie call center counselors – or Genies as we like to call them – are experienced industry professionals who know and understand the senior living industry from the inside out.

Our counselors have a deep understanding of prospective senior living community residents and their loved ones, their pain points, needs, wants, and concerns. They know the senior living customer journey involves much more than simply connecting a prospect with a community. It takes nurturing, empathy, respect, and care.

Our counselors are trusted to handle our clients’ leads with the compassion, dignity, and respect they want and deserve.

Qualifications

  • Strong phone and written communication skills.
  • A desire to help older adults and their families in their senior living search.
  • Positive character traits including compassion, empathy, kindness, and patience.
  • Experience with senior living customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
  • Experience with business applications including Microsoft Office products.

More Information

At LeadGenie, our Counselors are fully remote professionals who assist our senior living community clients with the management of their sales inquiries. These inquiries are received via phone, email, text, and chat — most commonly into a centralized Call Center software platform where they are further qualified and developed by the assigned LeadGenie Counselor.

Counselors are expected to:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, texts, chats and respond to email communications.
  • Place outbound follow up calls to families.
  • Discover prospects and families’ needs, wants, and resources by building rapport and asking effective questions.
  • Show the value of recommended solutions by articulating how they meet the needs of prospects and families.
  • Log customer and contact information, using various CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
  • Maintain working knowledge of community services, amenities, pricing, and events utilizing provided knowledgebase tools.

If this all sounds like your bread-and-butter, we’d love to connect! We need great listeners and writers who want to help people. Here’s more of what we look for in an ideal candidate:

  • 2+ years customer service or sales experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • An outgoing personality, with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer experience working on multiple software programs. Ability to navigate between several computer screens (e.g., CRM Software, ACD (Automatic Contact Distributor) System, Email and Web Browser) while actively listening and entering customer information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • College degree preferred
  • Previous Senior Living Experience a plus
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
